I'm Meara Kelleher!
pronounced [meer-uh kell-eh-her]
A little bit about me -
When people asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" my answer for most of my childhood was always: "an artist." That stuck until 7th grade when Ms.Bradley assigned us a project to build a full advertising campaign. That is when it all came together, the realization that I can create art to tell stories with strategy and purpose that persuades people to feel something. Nine years after that project I have since graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Advertising.
After graduating college naturally I applied to every job listing my eyes came across. Not knowing the first thing about finance I somehow landed an interview with Fidelity Investments. I took the risk and jumped head first into to daunting world of finance. Since that interview I have acquired my SIE, Series 7 & 63 licenses, and I'm now a licensed stockbroker finding creative outlets through the role whenever I can!
Outside of the 9-5, I find fulfillment through walks with my mini aussie named Aura, obsessivley checking Google Flights like it's a form of social media, trying every yoga studio in the DFW metroplex, trying to cook like I am Anthony Bourdain, and finding the small ways to make life better for the people around me!
